Reminder: Using the /region claim command will charge you $1000 Nooks, even if you did it incorrectly. So double check before entering it. You will not get a refund.
Note: The maximum volume of a Region that you can claim is 1.5 Million. The volume is displayed in ( ) after selecting the 2nd Point. Ex:Second Position set to (-100,100,-100) (400) So the volume would be 400. If you go over the limit and you use /region claim it will charge you $1000 Nooks and you will not get a refund.
Note: Before creating a region make sure its not overlapping with someone elses, to do this right click the area with a feather and if WorldGuard tells you theres a Region, then you cant create your region there.
First you have to select the area you want protected.
A cuboid is like a 3D rectangle. In WorldEdit, you select the region by setting two points of a cuboid.
1. Get the selection wand with //wand. This gives you a wooden axe.
2. Select the wooden axe.
3. Set Point 1 by left-clicking a block.
4. Set Point 2 by right-clicking another block .
Creating a Protected Region:
Now that your cuboid is selected you need to set it as a protected region with the /region claim command. Ex. /region claim MyRegion1 /region claimLittleHouse /region claim MyShop
The ID is the name for your region, and can be anything that isn't already used (Check with /region info NAME to see if the region name is used already). It will create the region and set you as the owner.
"Awesome, I can build here and not get griefed! Hey, wait a minute my friends can't help me build now, wtf?!"
You'll need to add your friends as members of your region to let them build in your newly protected area. Ex.: /region addmember (region name) (player1) (player2) (player3) /region addmember dirtydirt1 MeGusta NewPlayer Ilurvponies1994
If you need to remove friends from the list it is much the same: Ex.: /region removemember (region name) (player1) (player2) (player3)
